Lectures on intermediate environmental economics (undergraduate).
This is an intermediate course in environmental economics. In this course, we will study important topics in environmental (and welfare) economics. The first half of the course will be devoted to the valuation of non-market goods with a particular focus on revealed preference methods. In the second half, we will turn to the intertemporal aspects of environmental problems with climate change being a primary example.
Class will meet on Fridays from 14:30 to 16:00.
Calculus-based courses in microeconomics and macroeconomics with the corresponding background in mathematics.
